Thank you so much! I love this opera, it is probably the hardest role written for a soprano according to experts (the assoluta voice in opera, by Geoffrey S. Riggs) and I adore Caballes' version so I wanna check out Gruberova's now since she does the cavaleta in act 1 uncut and so amazingly well.
Yes! Gruberova is spectacular, even more in this role, but for me still prefer the interpretation of Montserrat Caballé, in my opinion the most important "event" in opera world after Callas.
